The Heart Behind Barking Beauties

Hi, I'm Jane, owner of Barking Beauties.

As a lifelong dog lover and dog owner myself, I know just how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else's care. You want to know they'll be safe, happy, understood and looked after by someone who genuinely cares about them.

That's the approach behind Barking Beauties. I provide personal dog grooming, dog walking and home boarding in Wigan, taking the time to get to know each dog's personality, routine and individual needs.

Whether your dog is joining me for a walk, coming in for a groom or staying while you're away, my aim is simple: for them to feel comfortable, cared for and happy to come back.

My love of dogs goes back as far as I can remember. Living with and caring for my own dogs has taught me that no two are quite the same. Some are confident and outgoing, while others need a little more patience, reassurance and time to settle.

That's one of the reasons I created Barking Beauties.

I wanted to offer dog owners in Wigan a more personal approach to dog care — somewhere dogs aren't simply another appointment or booking, but are treated as individuals.

It's deliberately friendly, personal and centred around what's best for the dog.

My own dogs are a huge part of my life and have taught me so much about understanding and caring for dogs.

They've taught me the importance of routine, patience, body language, exercise, affection and, above all, understanding the individual dog in front of you.

That experience influences the way I run Barking Beauties every day. I want every dog in my care to receive the same kindness, patience and attention I'd expect someone to give my own.

Like many dog owners, I know how nerve-racking it can feel leaving your dog with someone new.

I started Barking Beauties because I wanted to provide the kind of dog care I would choose for my own dogs: small numbers, plenty of individual attention, honest communication and someone who genuinely looks forward to seeing them.

Whether it's grooming, walking or home boarding, I want owners to feel completely comfortable knowing their dog is being cared for by someone who knows them and understands what they need.

When your dog is with Barking Beauties, they'll be treated with kindness, patience and respect.

I'll take the time to understand their personality and routine, communicate openly with you and always put their safety, comfort and wellbeing first.
